Halliburton Detention Camps For Political Subversives

In another shining example of modern day corporate fascism, it was announced recently that Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg, Brown and Root had been awarded a $385 million dollar contract by Homeland Security to construct detention and processing facilities in the event of a national emergency.

I knew it, that picture is from the RNC protesters.

This whole thing confuses me. KBR is given cash to build temporary holding facilities for an influx of(illegal) immigrants or for housing of the emergency or reconstruction workers after a catastrophe. Those are pretty broad circumstances. so why not holding facilities for political activists? Like Pier 57 in New York. I think those other two examples are smoke and the gov. and KBR are gearing up for a very stormy political season.

Yeah, I'm still a little paranoid from early. (raises hands, palms up and shrugs)
